SOME PLANT SPECIES IN SOUTH-WESTERN PART OF NIGERIA
I was walking along a path as i stumbled on some plants. It then came to my mind to observe those plants especially the leaf.

It is used for embalming dead bodies in some countries.

Economic importance:
The seeds of Coffee plant are roasted and powdered for making coffee. The drug 'quinine' obtained from the bark of the plant is used throughout the world in the treatment of malarial fever. Timber which can be used for commercial purposes is obtained from Adina cordifolia (Manjakkadambu) and Morinda tinctoria (Nuna tree). Ixora coccinea are also used for decorating houses.
